2. If they vote Mary Landrieu out next year and... |

we win the election, Mr. Jindal will have a hard time finding one cent for his state.

5. Hmmm... FEMA is responding more rapidly to rich white So. Californians ... |
|
... than it did for the impoverished in New Orleans.
(And doesn't it help with evacuations if you own your own transportation?)

...and it sucks, but this is reality.
San Diego is the most conservative part of California. Pete Wilson came from there. It's Navy boy heaven.
If the Democrats don't realign and learn how to win in more moderate districts, what we saw this week will likely repeat itself over and over.

7. If the Democrats don't realign... |

The Democrats have been learning how to win in more moderate districts by the way. One way to speed up the wins is by masquerading republican candidates as Democrats.
What's the point voting Democrat in conservative districts if there is little or no difference in the politician's actions.
In the next election Democratic candidates and incumbents will lose because they were too much like Republicans.

8. well now that the election is a fait accompli they might at least |
|
make it possible for the poor folks (that might have made a difference in the election) that have been forcibly dispersed out of New Orleans back to their homes and guarantee the levees.
