It's about time someone stood up to these nuts.

Thank you Mr. Clinton.

22. Yes, indeed. Also see Greg Palast's Khan Job article re the pre9/11-NSA 'policyshift'
Khan Job: Bush Spiked Probe of Pakistan’s Dr. Strangelove, BBC reported in 2001

http://www.gregpalast.com/khan-job-bush-spiked-probe-of-pakistan%E2%80%99s-dr-strangelove-bbc-reported-in-2001/

"The “Back-Off” Directive and the Islamic Bomb

… A top-level CIA operative who spoke with us on condition of strictest anonymity said that, after Bush took office, “There was a major policy shift” at the National Security Agency. Investigators were ordered to “back off ” from any inquiries into Saudi Arabian financing of terror networks, especially if they touched on Saudi royals and their retainers. That put the Bin Ladens, a family worth a reported $12 billion and a virtual arm of the Saudi royal household, off limits for investigation. Osama was the exception; he remained a wanted man, but agents could not look too closely at how he filled his piggy bank. The key rule of any investigation, “follow the money,” was now violated, and investigations-at least before September 11-began to die."

20. And the damage was such
that it damaged all structural support members in a manner causing them all to fail at almost the same instant which in turn led to the building falling straight down into it's own footprint at approximately free fall speed.

While the collapses of the twin towers were widely and repeatedly publicized and the iconographic image of their collapses is stuck in millions of people's minds thanks to the widespread and repeated showings of the collapsing Twin Towers, the vertical collapse of WTC Building 7 is much less well known since the M$M has given very little airplay to the collapse of this structure (after an initial showing of the building's fall on the afternoon of 9/11) as compared to the treatment accorded the collapse of WTC towers 1 & 2. However, thanks to Al Gore's invention of the internet :), we can still watch the video that was shot of 9/11 collapsing at free fall speed into it's own footprint on 9/11, whether or not the M$M figures it is newsworthy or not.

Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 03:05 PM by wildbilln864
There was not enough damage done by the collapse of those towers to cause a complete and global collapse. Nothing in history has ever caused any steel framed high rise building to collapse! Ever!
You really should check out the dungeon here IMO.

8. "how dare" anyone ask questions
"How dare" anyone distrust Cheney/Bush!

How dare anyone want to know why Bush ignored the PDB warning of the attack.

We mustn't dare to question our honest, God-loving, God-fearing, moral and ethical leaders, because they only want the best for the American people. We all know that!

13. It was refreshing to hear the majority of people there cheering
for Clinton.

I have no problem questioning these clowns.

Because that's what they are - clowns.

But the whole "controlled explosion" stuff is way over the top.

Did they ignore the intelligence they were receiving? - absolutely.

Were they asleep at the switch? - you betcha.

Were they "in on it". Highly doubtful. Why?

They are too inept. Pure and simple.

19. How can they be inept, when they are getting everything they want?
Edited on Sun Oct-28-07 06:38 AM by Syrinx
They ARE getting everything they want.

They are getting power and money for themselves and for the corporate interests that they represent.

They are closing down the American society. That's been Cheney's wettest dream all his life. He has always wanted an all-powerful executive branch of government. By all appearances, that has been achieved.

For three decades Vice President Dick Cheney conducted a secretive, behind-closed-doors campaign to give the president virtually unlimited wartime power. Finally, in the aftermath of 9/11, the Justice Department and the White House made a number of controversial legal decisions. Orchestrated by Cheney and his lawyer David Addington, the department interpreted executive power in an expansive and extraordinary way, granting President George W. Bush the power to detain, interrogate, torture, wiretap and spy -- without congressional approval or judicial review.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/cheney/

They are stealing trillions of dollars in taxpayers' money. The current estimate is that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will end up costing each one of us $8,000. And I think that is a low-ball figure, considering how long the Iraq occupation is likely to last.

WASHINGTON — The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan could total $2.4 trillion through the next decade, or nearly $8,000 per man, woman and child in the country, according to a Congressional Budget Office estimate scheduled for release Wednesday.

A previous CBO estimate put the wars' costs at more than $1.6 trillion. This one adds $705 billion in interest, taking into account that the conflicts are being funded with borrowed money.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2007-10-23-wacosts_N.htm

Remember, this Iraq war was supposed to cost no more than $50 billion. And Iraq was going to pay for most of that, with oil revenue.

Looks like that figure was a bit off the mark.

Inept? Inept like a fox. The more screwed up things are in Iraq, the more money there is to be made.

Touchy subject -- you've got a "cost-plus" contract, which means you're guaranteed a base-line profit of three percent of your total costs on the deal. The more you spend, the more you make -- and you certainly spent a hell of a lot.

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/16076312/the_great_iraq_swindle

This administration is not clownish. It is evil. And they are not inept. They are getting everything they want.

They don't care about the people of Iraq. They don't care about the people of New Orleans. And they don't care about the people of San Diego -- beyond their wealthy benefactors that happen to live there. They don't care about people at all. They care only about power and money.

I don't know if they were culpable in letting the attacks of September 11th happen, but I wouldn't be shocked by such a disclosure.

I do find it odd that the president's father is the only person that I've ever heard, that was of maturity in 1963, say that he can't remember where he was when President Kennedy was assassinated. More peculiar still, that he just happened to be a business associate of John Hinckley's father?

Inept?

No.

25. Please, for the love of God...
Go watch all the footage of WTC7 collapsing, then compare it to known controlled demolitions, THEN tell me it's way over the top.

Just because the vast majority of Americans have cognitive dissonance thanks to years of psychological propaganda doesn't mean we're crazy for asking questions of the obvious.

Here, you don't even have to do your own searching - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58h0LjdMry0

12. Boy, he really told 'em.
He came across all good and tough, and without context I can't say, maybe it was deserved. But he did not refute any 911 Truth arguments.

Substance, please?

The official theory doesn't hold up unless the laws of physics were suspended for the terrorists that day. Rather than respond to that, some people simply treat Truthers with derision. If someone is "one taco short," I think it's the people who have no better response than derision, not the ones who see the official story's falsity.

21. Clinton really jumped the shark on this one.
"Just SHUT UP!" -- Bill O'Rielly

Why are they so threatened by simple questions?

So both Bill Clinton and the original poster call anyone who asks questions about 9/11 "nuts" and "stupid", but they don't address any of the questions.

While we're on the subject, "how dare" both the O.P. and Bill Clinton tell me what to believe and what questions are OK to ask? Who am I going to believe, Bill Clinton and Poppy Bush, or my own damn lying eyes? What, like you think this is the first time the U.S. government has lied and killed? I guess Clinton thinks the Jersey girls should just "shut up".

I'll bet this conversation could just as easily happened in the 30's over the burned german reichstag building. Real patriots don't just "shut up" when they're told to.

29. Mr. Clinton sure showed that guy who was boss.
How dare he ask a question like that. That answer would have been better when asked about his sex life. "How dare you" instead "I never had sexual relations with that woman". Because we know 9/11 is more of personal attack on his family.

And what was the reason Clinton said something about naked people running around in the woods. Has he been listening/reading to some of the so-called "conspiracy" sites?

Now I'll be a good slave and stick my head in the sand while some DUers ridicule brave souls. I'm glad the guy didn't ask about Waco and the children who died there. Because that would require a good old fashion tasering. Or maybe sent off to some secret prison and never be seen again.
