A tribute to fallen US soldiers in Iraq is created in downtown Miami by Democracy for America Miami and Miami Veterans for Peace.

Fellow DUer Quetzalro and I just completed this video late last night and we're very eager for DU to see it.

and bawled like a baby. I think this is the first time the magnitude hit me. It's like that person said; they really are just numbers until you see all the 'headstones' and names attributed to them.
I think you did a wonderful job with this; you touched me greatly. The music was great, too.
And imagine the surprise of residents when they drive past that formerly empty area to see this tribute. Right before an election; I hope it makes them all think.

It was amazing to see the faces of people walking and driving by...

I think the idea of Arlingtons around the country is brilliant. It really seems to hit people in the gut and cut across party lines. There were many older Cuban American folks -people who had voted for Bush - very upset and angry as they gazed up 2500 grave markers.

8. I've been MIA because I needed to focus on my business

I was spending too much time on DU and not being productive enough in my business, so I had stop DU cold turkey, otherwise, I end up getting too immersed in it.

In fact, I'm checking out now because I have a deadline and I feel that old familiar feeling of DU taking control again. But I'll be back.

All these groups efforts around the country are
I believe beginning to have impact on changing
and increasing the level of awareness- People
now know what bush and his gang of murderers
and thieves have done to America.

20. there's a small town a couple hours north - Mt. Dora

who's asking DFA and Vets for Peace to do an installation up there. After seeing how these Arlington's affect people, I recommend that every town erects one. They're powerful, aren't they? And they're an amazing teaching tool for many folks. I heard a lot of, "I had no idea..."

I've been making television documentaries for a decade now. Quetzalro's been at it for 20+ years and has won every award under the sun.

It's really rewarding to do a piece that we feel strongly about and then put it on the internet ourselves.
