MY alma mater doesn't get enough mentions, except when Barack's name comes up. Sure, he transfered to Columbia shortly thereafter, but....

You have to understand, California has some of the best universities and colleges in the country, but only two presidential graduates--Hoover (from Stanford) and Nixon (from Whittier). Not exactly the pick of the litter, eh? Occidental itself has had only two presidential candidates speak there--Nixon and Ralph Nader. So Obama getting elected president would be the best thing ever to happen to my little liberal arts college--I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to re-name it after him.
