I have nothing to say. Only shaking my head in disbelief. He was stuffed into place by bush during recess. Thanks for the memories, you goon.

I'd really appreciate it

I got a couple Republicans commenting and making the point it was the Republican Congress that got rid of him and don't understand some of my points

This video would clarify it for them

There are some Republicans that just DON'T know but the good news is THEY are GLAD he is GONE too

thats how much he was disliked
He needs Anger management classes

22. do you think bolton wears a hairpiece?
I just realized, on observing this video, that his hair may not be real,
nor his moustache, and he really looks like lenin.

13. Let me sum it up.
There is no UN.
It's our way or the highway.
If the top ten stories of the UN building were destroyed, it would change nothing.

He's a real charmer. Oh, and it was all said in a tone that resembled a Gestapo.

He's not saying "might makes right," he's saying
"might makes might, and right is out of the picture."

19. That's right.
It's not Our way or the highway. It's just OUR WAY.

I can't believe how disgusted I am over this. We're just going to take what we want from you. Right out in the open. I have to wonder why they published the PNAC document on the internet. I'd have thought they'd kept it a secret.

But as we've seen, this maladministration just ratchets down. I don't expect anyone better than Bolton. I mean, look at the press secretaries. A succession of three!

And here I thought we were all on the same page, as humans. Bush woke me up.

I just found a huge salmon in the creek in front of my house. I've been watching him all week. Suddenly he's dead. I don't know if it'll be edible, but...

20. It's just Republican philosophy, writ large.
At a time in my life when I was perplexed by the ethics of everything
from owning a car to wearing leather shoes (because few people in the
world could afford either) I went to work for a law firm and found
a great comfort in the clarity of ethics when you have a client.

You do what you can for your client because it's your job.

It's OK to do for your client, because the other client is being done
for by the other guy.

Your client won't be perfect, but it's not up to you to anguish about
what's right--that's the job of the judge and the jury. You just adhere
to professional ethics, don't lie or cheat or steal, and you'll be fine.

Within the limits of professional ethics, what's good is what's good for
your client and what's bad is what's bad for your client.

If you go outside the duty of serving your client in trying to do what's
right, you're violating your ethical duty and screwing up the system.

Republicans take this client-centered value system and apply it to everything.
Every man's primary client is his family. He might also regard his firm,
his church, a club of like-minded individuals as secondary clients, but his
sense of duty rarely goes outside that circle, and as long as he stays inside
the law there are few questions of right and wrong in his own life, but only
in the lives of people he perceives as outside his circle.

It's a comforting and simple way to live.

The President's client is the people of the United States. Here of course the
system breaks down, because there is no higher authority to play the role of
the judge and jury.

Lakoff writes about this client-centered culture in "Don't Think of an Elephant."

I don't know about eating dead stuff. I'll suppose this salmon was a late
spawner, huh? I've heard of dogs dying from eating spent salmon, but I'll
guess that comes from eating it raw.

Oh no! I'm just sitting down to my salmon now. I hadn't thought of it as dead until you mentioned it. It had been swimming for a week, under my bridge. It smells as fresh as any fish I've ever smelled. It'll be ok.

Well, if you never see me post on DU again, you'll know what happened. :)

edit- Business for robot people. When my dad and I were running an electronics company, whenever a military order came in, it went directly into the garbage can. Period. And if everyone else did the same, there'd be no military.

If you didn't know, Ny Sun was conceived as "NY Post for intellectuals" (which means nobody buys it). I sometimes chack for headlines - you see why.
