July 17th, 2006, G8 Summit. During the process of seating himself at the meeting table, President Bush decides to give an impromptu shoulder massage to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the only female in attendance. The German Chancellor reacts sharply with an expression of great unease and the raising of her shoulders in an apparent attempt to break a possible choke hold. The president releases his grip and continues to his seat, not making eye contact with or acknowledging in any way the German Chancellor who follows him with her glare.

An infamous still from the film is below. It shows the German Chancellor defending herself from what she believes is a physical attack by President Bush. Bush's face has a "slack-jawed" or intoxicated appearance and is emotionless.
