3.  I want Obama
I think Hillary won the debate, but Obama held his own. I think Obama should give her a powerfull position if he's lucky enough to win, because she is a smart lady & could do a lot of good

17. That wasn't the theatre, it was the CNN focus group.
Both focus groups were bad numbers, too small a sample.

11. Fred "Foghorn Leghorn" Thompson won a Fox debate focus group once....
...and he was out of the race two weeks later.

So, using History as our guide, this bodes very well for Hill.

14. Fox News wants to point out first and foremost
that Obama and Clinton will RAISE TAXES. That's the big difference they say between Democrats and Repukes. Fuck Fox News and anything they do or say.

always spinning - no matter that the TRUTH is usually the OPPOSITE of what you people claim...

you must be dizzy by now...

sad you're so desparate for "good news" that you have to make up your own (quoting anything that fux says is the same thing...)

23. Not enough people
even watch these events to make a difference and even so I have a feeling that the numbers for tuesday are pretty much set despite all the hoopla. What exactly are the polls across the board saying? Some wins for Obama down South, closing in California.

I think the campaigns know very well what is going to happen and whatever movement among various factions or regions i think they know pretty much who will win and pretty much when.

I certainly don't know. It's like the day before the Superbowl when we can pretend it will be a close game and the Giants will win. Anyone care to exit the breathless drama for a second and lay on the data and the momentum thing? I would guess Edwards' campaign knows too and knows exactly what effect he would have had on the outcome- or none at all which would benefit no one, nor his platform.

I did notice that Wolf Blitzer did his best to insure that Hillary and Obama would both be on the ticket. Both major parties naturally think that could be a great idea.

29. As a postal worker
I am less offended than amused you would put this criminal suggestion in print. I hope it is noted and gets the full intention it deserves.

Cheap terroism and violence is usually the stuff of the RW arsenal of tricks. If not, it soon brutalizes and corrupts the angry revolutionaries.

The people most fed up with the election process, the impatient Bush dynasty for example, have already done something about obliterating our election system. They have better tricks than that and even better, they will use your tax money to do them.

28. ARE you telling me!!!
Dems are taking any news from Fox News!!!!!!

Screw that!!!!!

Dont use fox news to support your guy!!!

CNN undecided had Clinton winning 60/40 and then try and spin it in Obama's favor by bring up the war issue.

Hilary won on every issue but the war issue. They both pretty much agree on what to do now but Obama didnt have to make a vote because he wasnt there. If he was there there is a good chance he would have voted present. Its easy to say your against something when you dont actually have to vote. Since he has been there he voted just the same as Clinton. If he was so anti war he should have taken the "Great stand of change" instead he voted inline to play it safe.

Now he can play both sides of the fence. But if he was there he would have voted for it also. I say this because he has voted with the war ever since....or he could have voted present. He seems to really like to have it both ways.

30. Focus on the focus groups
Looking at their sad performance under GOP orchestration largely, they are irrelevant peanut galleries for debates few watch. Most of the electorate goes its own way probably diverted by the news spin on what they thought they heard and saw or as their sole information. Debates have been diluted and ruined by the media and cautious campaigns.

It only informs by inference. IF honest, the debate focus groups are irrelevant to campaign impact. IF dishonest they are being used in a weak ploy to boost a losing candidate who could keep a heated and costly competition going. That itself might tell you who the network thinks is really winning, likely Hillary, because if she was losing her focus group scores would go through the roof to get her back on top- and that would likely be useless as well.

All in all FOX is not worth watching even to understand the opinions of its victims. It is mind contaminating treason and should only be watch by civil rights groups and others preparing legal action.
