Senator Edward Kennedy in East Los Angeles

For over forty years, the Kennedy family has been helping those whose voices are not heard in the halls of Washington. Those who aren't getting a fair shake, regardless of race, color, or creed. It is this leadership that makes Senator Edward Kennedy such an inspiring leader to the citizens of East Los Angeles. He is a fighter for their causes, and knows Senator Obama is the same brand of fighter.
Senator Kennedy came to East Los Angeles Community College and spoke to an overflowing crowd. He told the crowd why he believed Barack Obama is most qualified, the most inspiring, and the most capable candidate to take that torch, as his brother did almost fifty years ago, and begin the next chapter of the American story.
Here's Senator Kennedy, introduced by community leader and national campaign co-chair Maria Elana Durazo
