1. Jello knows.
I think I heard this nearly ten years ago. I loved it. But seeing him with his cape and spook sunglasses is pretty cool.

3. I saw Fear recently.
Don't ask why, but I was watching Monster Garage, and suddenly Lee Ving and Fear are there playing. God, what a change. He's aging a lot faster than Iggy is.

Yes, Jello knows. I remember the FBI raiding his place, way back when.

4. Isn't this just an update of the original
that was on "Give Me Convenience or Give Me Death?"

I tried to get Jello to come speak at my uni in 1990 but his manager wanted three grand so we canned it. We were *this* close!

Yeah, well, Jello looks and sounds old. That is what the best heroes do, I guess. You know, get old.

5. I think it was only a live spoken word performance.
I love that album title. But I don't see it on that album.

It's probably like a recording I have of his piece where he's on the phone to some ambassador. Talking about death squads and shipping in drugs so the youth will be too hight to protest. All over the sounds of some gagged prisoner. The corporations will be very pleased.

And I cannot find the text to that piece anywhere. It'll pop up on some anonymous tape I made in the 90's, while I'm driving along, putting a smile on my face. And the fear in my stomach.

6. Try Plastic Surgury Disasters then
It has to be on there. It is somebody from the State Department talking on the phone to Margret Thatcher.

7. I don't see it there either.
Now I'm not going to give up til I find it.

meanwhile, look at this-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNF7dIbY_ts

I wish I had done more to get out of my tomb, when I had the chance. Oh well. Now I have a thousand cd's to buy. That's what I get for listening to college radio and not going to shows and not buying the god damned records. I just leeched. And as a result, here I am on DU lamenting the loss of my beautiful life. I could have seen GWAR. I could have met Jello. What am I yapping about...

to be continued.

9. It was a spoken word only piece, or atleast it wasn't on
any of the Dead Kennedy's studio albums or Give Me Conveniance or Give Me Death. As an earlier poster stated, you may be thinking of "Kinky Sex Goes Round" which has the Secretary of War talking the phone to the British Prime Minister.

14. That is a DK song correct
Edited on Fri Dec-22-06 06:39 PM by Steepler0t
Although it is mostly talking with odd noises and a heavy-breathing excited listener on the other end of the line as he talks on the phone.

It is kinda spoken word

"Kinky Sex Makes The World Go 'Round"

(Phone Dialing)
Greetings:This is the Secretary of War at the State Department
of the United States
We have a problem.
The companies want something done about this sluggish
world economic situation
Profits have been running a little thin lately
and we need to stimulate some growth
Now we know
there's an alarmingly high number of young people roaming
around in your country with nothing to do but stir up trouble
for the police and damage private property.
It doesn't look like they'll ever get a job
It's about time we did something constructive with these people
We've got thousands of 'em here too. They're crawling all over
The companies think it's time we all sit down, have a serious get-together-
And start another war
The President?
He loves the idea! All those missiles streaming overhead to and fro
Napalm
People running down the road, skin on fire
The Soviets seem up for it:
The Kremlin's been itching for the real thing for years.
Hell, Afghanistan's no fun
So whadya say?
We don't even have to win this war.
We just want to cut down on some of this excess population
Now look. Just start up a draft; draft as many of those people as you can.
We'll call up every last youngster we can get our hands on,
hand 'em some speed, give 'em an hour or two to learn how to use
an automatic rifle and send 'em on their way
Libya? El Salvador? How 'bout Northern Ireland?
Or a "moderately repressive regime" in South America?
We'll just cook up a good Soviet threat story
in the Middle East-we need that oil

We had Libya all ready to go and Colonel Khadafy's hit squad
didn't even show up. I tell ya
That man is unreliable.
The Kremlin had their fingers on the button just like we did for that one
Now just think for a minute-We can make this war so big-so BIG
The more people we kill in this war, the more the economy will prosper
We can get rid of practically everybody on your dole queue if we plan this right.
Take every loafer on welfare right off our computer rolls
Now don't worry about demonstrations-just pump up your drug supply.
So many people have hooked themselves on heroin
and amphetamines since we took over, it's just like Vietnam.
We had everybody so busy with LSD they never got too strong.
Kept the war functioning just fine
It's easy.
We've got our college kids so interested in beer
they don't even care if we start manufacturing germ bombs again.
Put a nuclear stockpile in their back yard,
they wouldn't even know what it looked like
So how 'bout it? Look-War is money.
The arms manufacturers tell me unless
we get our bomb factories up to full production
the whole economy is going to collapse
The Soviets are in the same boat.

We all agree the time has come for the big one, so whadya say?!?
That's excellent. We knew you'd agree
The companies will be very pleased.
(Hangup Sound)

Once again Jello is creepily ahead of his time as this was the 80's.

Edit: Spelling

I have been hoping to see Jello's new stuff and have waited for years being a fan for so long, *watching now*

Edit: He is getting old, and this is a update of a old spoken word

Here is a video of him back in the day I found on you tube speaking of many of his old DK songs:
