1. The benefit one would get by exaggerating drug use is hazy to me
no pun intended.

But seriously, I'm just not seeing the boost that his campaign would get by suggesting that he really was on the road to junkiedom when he really wasn't. I don't think that this would trigger the rehab-darling instinct that some people might have.

18. are you suggesting that there is a possibility
that he's still doing cocaine and this is an article to help bury those claims? Seems like if they really wanted to do Obama a favor they would just let it alone completely.

21. You must be kidding me
I think there's a job opening in the McCain campaign for you. The GOP could always use some good mudslinging operatives.

4. I don't think it will hurt him.
He can always smoke more later if he wants to. I've always told my God Children. You can't expect people to respect your right to smoke weed. If you don't respect thier right not to.

5. Wow, that's a new one.
You can always count on the media to create sensationalized news where there is none. Then for other media to go and feed off the first non-news on National TV for 20 minutes.

9. Kerry went to Vietnam
to "Pad his resume" for his political career. (Remember that one?)

And now Obama is exaggerating his drug use to "Pad his resume" for his political career.

My brain hurts.

10. WOW
Only goes to re-enforce my point that the HRC media machine will do whatever it can to trash BHO. CNN is another one, you would have thought that his win in VA was somehow bad if you watched last night. Media pigs...

14. HRC media machine? That's ridiculous. Hillary has been too
soft on Obama throughout the campaign while Obama has been attacking her relentless. The media and her campain have give pretty much a free pass to him.

11. There's your liberal media. Right on top of the real issues.
And for the reasons given in posts earlier, it doesn't make sense.

About six years ago, they should have been hammerin Bush about exaggerating Saddam's power and his threat to our country.

And the number of bad poems he's written.

Is there no end to what this man won't do?
