3. Hope, change, belief....

lather, rinse, repeat. It would be nice if Mr. Obama had a record to run on instead of just some catchy phrases. But I guess we're supposed to get all gooey because he TALKS about all of those wonderful things, not because he's ever DONE anything about them.

He's a charismatic person, full of empty rhetoric as far as I can see. He's very appealing to new voters, but they all think Britney Spears and Paris Hilton are "the bomb" as well. Impetuous youth being manipulated by a charismatic person playing to their emotions. That's never happened before, right? :eyes:

Can't wait to talk to these same young people 20 years from now and see what they think then.

Obama has been a Senator for a short time. There is a reason he hasn't yet brought about the change he is talking about: He isn't president, YET.

Wanna talk empty rhetoric? How about McCain's empty rhetoric about another 100 years in Iraq? How about Clinton's bullshit DLC rhetoric? Would you prefer to elect HRC so they can push the party back to the right?

You should be thrilled that so many new people are engaged in the process, and YES, informed. Impetuous? Puhlease.
