1. Sonds more like a GOP attack ad against a Democrat in the GE
.....than an ad by a Democrat seeking the nomination.

2. It is a huge lie. I can't wait to see the response ad from the Obama campaign
Obama just got asked about Social Security during a town hall in WI on Wednesday. He said he wont raise the retirement age or cut benefits (he gave explanations why such as how extending the retirement age would hurt manual labor workers). He clearly said that he wants to raise the cap on Social Security taxes which is currently capped at 97,500.

How are we supposed to believe anything she says anymore? I know I can't. Uggghhh

18. More annoying....
HRC said she won't raise the age, cut benefits, or change the cap. She simply avoided the question at every turn. Apparently to run exactly this kind of ad...

3. Hillary's campaign ship has hit the "iceberg" and this ad will not help her
Edited on Fri Feb-15-08 03:24 PM by Botany

I hope she gets beat by 20 points in WI.

BTW I bet she gets beat in TX & OH too. Her time is over.

5. LOL! I had to look up new america foundation, quoted in the ad
http://www.newamerica.net/

wikipedia entry:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_America_Foundation

I find in interesting it has on board, Francis Fukuyama, a prominent neoconservative, even though it claims to be "nonpartisan think tank".

Relationship to Neoconservatism
As a key Reagan Administration contributor to the formulation of the Reagan Doctrine, Fukuyama is an important figure in the rise of Neoconservatism. He was active in the Project for the New American Century think tank starting in 1997, and as a member co-signed the organization's letter recommending that President Bill Clinton support Iraqi insurgencies in the overthrow of then-President of Iraq, Saddam Hussein.<1>

11. well, not sure why a founder of the PNAC should be on any "nonpartisan" think tank.
but it is certainly telling that that think tank is who Clinton uses.

10. Maybe because she misrepresented his positions?
If she hadn't, it would be a negative ad. Lying about someone's positions is an attack.

15. You certainly don't have to be in Wisconsin to attack your opponent
about not debating in Wisconsin. While your opponent is actually IN Wisconsin.

oops...

16. man
There is such a good Obama ad in the waiting, but it's too late. Show Obama talking to tens of thousands of Wisconsin people, and showing Hillary 1000 miles away.

14. This is the second ad with the same dorky music. Is she churning them out
on a dime? Definitely sounds like it. Obama could hit her with the IWR vote and images of dead children. :grr: They would go well with the stupid music of hers.

19. I really like Obama's message of hope
Obama makes me feel good about where we are going in the future and not so good about where we have been in the past. His message is a message of hope.

22. She is losing and desperate, so she's going negative.
Hillary is a won-at-all-costs candidate who is going negative the way all losing, desperate candidates resort to going negative. Sad. So Sad. I've been doing home-based phonebanking for Obama to voters in Wisconsin and will do A LOT MORE OF IT NOW. GO OBAMA !!!!
