That is easier to stomach than the fact that he is just a crazy who is supposed to protect our freedoms and the rule of law for at least the next two decades. From my understanding there can be up to 12 judges on the supreme court. Maybe our next democratic president will elect to put a few saner ones on the court. Thanks.

8. MY AMERICAN HISTORY CLASS

I could be mistaken, I'm terrible with remembering numbers, but I was intrigued when I read it in my text book. I'm taking it this semester, so this is not some long ago recollection. It has been nine for quite some time, due to consensus, but I don't believe that they amended the constitution to change the maximum number of judges, at least I haven't seen one yet. I've got my hopes up.

2. Can the next President nominate more Justices?

I just reread the Constitution again. There appears no # of justices to the Supreme Court, just that the Pres. nominates Justices, and the Senate approves, or votes the nominee down, like our friend Bork, who by the way is incredibly similar in judicial philosophy to Justice Scalia.

It seems that this will require a law to be passed to change the number. Since there are a majority of Reptilians in the court we have to shift the number in order to protect the constitution.
