There's so much common wisdom about other countries that's just wrong, and Obama is getting it right. Pakistan is a nation whose populace longs for good government, not the Taliban. The Soviet Union fell over a decade and a half ago, and yet our policy on Cuba hasn't changed with the times. I look forward to an era of building bridges to other nations and their people instead of building walls.
