Dennis is passionate and eloquent, and America needs the integrity he brings "to the table"!
Prayer for America launched his first presidential campaign, and it's fitting that we are hearing it again now!
This video was done by Malachi Roth of Brooktrout Films, who created the video "The Peace Candidate" during Dennis' run for President in 2004. I just talked to him about an hour ago, and he's *very* happy and excited that Dennis is running again. I was going to post this video, but I'm glad that Maggie Swanson has already done it!
Malachi produced "Limon: A Life Beyond Words" about the modern dancer and political activist Jose Limon. It aired on PBS here in Albuquerque about a year ago. My favorite scene from the film, and one very relevant to today, is one of the prime dancers expressing her fatigue and discouragement because the dance company was not being treated well. She turned to Limon and said (and I'm paraphrasing here a bit): "What are we doing here? Why are we bothering?"
Limon's response: "As long as we have a man like Nixon in the White House, we must do our work with every bit of courage and dedication that we can muster."
And now...As long as we have a man like George Bush in the White House, we must do our work with every bit of courage and dedication that we can muster to put a man with integrity and real love for America in the White House.
Dennis Kucinich!
