I'm coming to CT Sunday for BarackThe energy around this campaign is astounding. I’m here in California, and I did three events around the state for Barack Obama. At every stop the crowds were large, and it would be an understatement to call them enthusiastic - packed rooms, full of people joining this amazing campaign for a new direction in our country and giving their all to help. “Fired up, ready to go” is more than just a slogan; it really captures the feel of these amazing events.
I’m so energized by all of the hard work in this movement for change, I switched my flight back East to a red-eye so I could get in some more work for this campaign. I’ll grab a couple of hours of sleep after I get back to Boston, and then I’m heading down to Connecticut for two get-out-the-vote events. I know it’s short notice – I just finalized my plans – but I hope I can see you there.
The first event will be in Bridgeport at 1:30 in the afternoon; the doors will open at 1. The location for this hasn't even been finalized yet, so check
http://ct.barackobama.com for the details. The second event will be in New Haven at the home of Dr Reginald Mayo at 435 Stevenson Rd. The doors open here at 3:00 pm for the 3:30 event.
The Clinton campaign had a big lead just a few weeks ago, but the Obama campaign has caught fire. There’s movement all over the nation toward Barack, and polls show it’s happening in Connecticut, too. There are thousands and thousands of people joining this movement for change every hour of every day.
Even if you can't come to the events tomorrow, you can still help the campaign the Connecticut. Check
http://ct.barackobama.com to find out how.
I’ll be working every moment I can from now until Tuesday to help build this incredible campaign. I hope you can join us at these events.
Thanks,
John Kerry
