Is Hillary on the ropes?
She was swept this weekend in the primaries, now her campaign manager has just resigned, and she has adapted Mr 9/11's "florida strategy" in Texas and Ohio. This shows me that there is desperation in her camp.

2. All I'll say about it is that I'm glad the things you mention are happening
in her campaign and not Obama's. ;-)

3. It is incredible that Obama got past Super Tuesday
I think the Clintons thought the race would end on SuperTuesday with their win. The Obama people could not have themselves thought they could win outright on super Tuesday. Maybe this lead to them taking these states more seriously earlier.

What surprises me is that there was talk that she would win Maine yesterday when they were speaking of the Saturday states. This has to hurt. Is it just me or was there a sudden shift from giving the pledged delegate count to the total delegate count on SuperTuesday. This had the affect of it not being clear that he actually was slightly ahead last Tuesday and is not nearly 100 pledged delegates ahead. The difference in the intensity of the applause at the VA event was incredibly noticeable.

The best thing about this is that at every bad turn, they get nasty and lose some degree of control - and the media is no longer spinning for them. (In fact, one telling example was that in speaking of the fact that Huckabee may cause it to be a long time before McCain gets his numbers - they spoke of how after Clinton eliminated the strong 1992 candidates (Tsongus, Kerrey, Harkin ??? - they didn't say who), Jerry Brown was there and because there were some bad stretches in Clinton's campaign, it took till June to clinch it. Now, what % of DU remembers that the Clinton 1992 primary and general election campaigns weren't "flawless" and Carville was not a genius.)
