Anyone from Dayton, Ohio here? A question.. |
|
My son wants to go to the rally being held at the "Nutter Center" ? for Obama in Dayton.. he is wondering if he'll have to stand in line all day (I told him I thought probably yes), if he'd even be able to get in ( I dont know the size of the venue ) or what the capacity was and how many they were expecting. Anyone with any answers, would be appreciated. He'll be driving over from Lebanon.

1. The Nutter Center seats 12,000. There is a parking lot. |
|
Yeah, he'll probably have to stand in line for hours.

2. I'd suggest that he go way early so he can be near the start of the line and |
|
be sure to get in -- the only thing worse than driving a long way and standing in line for hours in the cold is driving a long way, standing in line for hours, and not getting in.

Who knows if I'll ever get to again without the 3-hr wait, etc.
We stood in line outside for only 40 min. (although in 5 degree weather--brr!) and were seated right away after getting through security. So I feel lucky.
