Obama to speak in Oregon tomorrow
In Portland and Eugene. Strikes me as odd, going to speak where the primary won't be held until May 20th. Anybody know why? Will it be a good setting for a particular speech maybe?

1. He's got to get the grassroots moving in Oregon - organizing,
registering voters, setting up offices. When he goes anywhere to make a speech, people have to sign up online to get tickets and then they campaign has their contact information to ask them to volunteer. This gets people involved who otherwise would have no clue what to do to help. He was just in Indiana this past week doing the same thing.

:hi:

2. that sounds very smart.
That's his good ground game in action, I guess. Doesn't just fly in right before the primary. Good campaign.
