I had hoped it was over...but nope. |
|
Looks like we're about to see wall-to-wall coverage about Rev. Wright again. The media really loves this story and I'm now afraid it will never go away. MSNBC is even interrupting Clinton's speech to talk about Rev. Wright. They've talked about it all morning, only letting up for commercials. Now they're demanding Obama give another speech. It's quite obvious they're going to play this until it really damages Obama. I wouldn't be surprised if it's their top story the rest of the month and into April.
It's not going away. :(

1. I read what Wright wrote, and I honestly have no idea what "we're" supposed to be upset about. |
|
I guess if you take things out of context....AGAIN then it'll sound worse than it actually is.
To hell with the MSM. I'm sick of them.

2. There is nothing to be outraged over. |
|
However, when people are told enough times they SHOULD be outraged over something, then they actually become outraged.

3. How many people still have not made up their minds about it? |
|
Cable news just wants to keep it stirred up, but that doesn't mean people are being affected. Most people don't care about it so much I don't think. If the networks don't get the response they want, they'll move on.

4. You're right, it just pisses me off. |
|
In fact, MSNBC has stopped talking about it. It's just, JESUS CHRIST, MOVE ON ALREADY!

5. I'm taking a Poli Sci class, "Presidential Election 2008" |
|
and, to my surprise, no one in the class wanted to talk about it again.
Guess I need to explain -- I attend University of Dayton's Lifelong Learning Institute -- think: college for old people because you have to be 55 or over to attend.
Pre-speech, two classmates announced they had been life-long Repubs and were voting for Obama this election. Post-speech, they were still voting for him.
Let's hope this is the norm.

6. With the exception of Countdown, I've given up on MSNBC. |
|
I sent countless emails with complaints and suggestions for improvement. I asked them to stick to the issues. I asked them to air the speeches the candidates are giving rather than have their "experts" summarize them for us. They're still up to their old tricks. They must think people are interested in watching what they're airing. My last email told them I was fed up and tuning in only for the 60 minutes of Countdown.
