Questions about DU and 2004 General Election ... Re: Math

I'm gearing up to post an ongoing MATH series for the general election cycle this year, and I'm wondering how things were done here on DU in 2004.

I'm sure there were DUers who posted about mathy stuff, statistics and polls in 2004. Which forum did they use ... General Discussion? Or was there a special forum for the election back then?

Also, I don't want to step on anybody's toes if someone else normally posts these types of things, or plans on doing so again. Does anyone know the names of DUers who did this in 2004? Or if you are one of these folks and are planning for 2008, please reply here.

I'm hoping to post weekly on the national projected EV and PV status, and do state-by-state analyses in between, with nerdy mathy humor and gratuitous amounts of off-topic tangents. I could definitely use some help, and/or help someone else!

Any ideas would also be much appreciated.
