An open letter to Cindy Sheehan
Edited on Wed May-30-07 09:34 AM by liberaldemocrat7
Dear Cindy

I'm sorry that your son died in Iraq. George W Bush hijacked the service, and the honor of your son and over 100,000 other sons in Iraq for oil.

I have watched progressives for the last 12 years fail to stop the REPUBLIKLAN party despite their best efforts. We have had a mean spirited welfare law passed into law, lack of regulation of companies resulting in people's deaths from the coal mines to the insides of automobiles to the failure of organs due to unsafe prescription drugs. I have seen the avarice and greed of the REPUBLIKLAN leaders rise to a level as high as the twin towers which fell because George W Bush provoked the 9-11 attacks over oil.

I have watched history of my country since the mid 1950's from the age of 7 to now. I have seen the indifference of Eisenhower as president, the savage propagandizing of Nixon as he ran for president in 1960. I have seen Lyndon Johnson lie about Viet Nam so corporations could make money. Yes, corporations did hold a lot of influence with Democratic Presidents too. I saw the nastiness of Richard Nixon as president until he fell. I saw the nastiness of our first Bizarro President Ronaldo Raygun to poor people, union members while millions of people cheered him on. I saw the Pedantic George Herbert Hoover Bush do nothing about his recession and he lost power to Bill Clinton in 1992. Bill Clinton did ok for a liberal Republican, hehe. After all with a REPUBLIKLAN congress he had signed that mean spirited welfare law which made Newt Gingrich very happy thank you very much. The REPUBLIKLAN Party placed every one of the Ford Explorer drivers on the altar to corporate America and sacrificed their lives during Newt Gingrich's reign of terror. The REPUBLIKLAN congress since the stolen election of 2000 placed People using prescription drugs such as Vioxx, Celebrex and other medications and coal miners and over 3,000 soldiers and 5000,000 innocent Iraqis on the altar to corporate America and sacrificed their lives up until today.

How many people will have to die so corporate America can continue to profit?

When will progressives learn the lessons taught us by Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Cesar Chavez and Nelson Mandela and actually take action?

Each of these people went after companies. Gandhi went after the British companies that sold products in India by telling people not to buy their products. Nelson Mandela and Bishop Tutu went after the companies in South Africa and told the world not to do business with them. Cesar Chavez told people to stop buying certain products from companies that mistreated their union members. Martin Luther King Jr. told people not to ride a bus until the policy of mistreating people ended.

Even the idiot George W Bush has told US companies not to do business with Sudan until the Sudanese government stopped the Genocide.

I'm telling you to stop doing business that gives aid and comfort to conservatives in both the Democratic and REPUBLIKLAN Parties in order to pressure their CEOs to go to congress and get us the progressive legislation and action we want. We need to use the power of our purchases en masse and force these CEOs to get the idiot in the white house to end the war and occupation of Iraq.

I don't care about criticism of me for speaking about this often. Even Gandhi said, first they laugh at you, then they criticize you, then they fight you and then eventually you win.

Let us win by calling war contractor General Electric corporation at 203 373 2211 and speak to the person in public relations and demand their CEO get George W Bush to end this war by the end of 2007 and then get Bush and Cheney to resign or we will not buy their light bulbs, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, televisions, DVD players, radios, telephones, etc.

Cindy, you made a very good effort to end this war and I'm sorry that the war continues but in my view we need to take the fight to the companies friendly to the REPUBLIKLAN party and the conservatives in the Democratic party.

In my view Gandhi, King Jr, Chavez, Mandela, Tutu would do no less. I have learned from history. Have you.

Even the prophet Moses did not deliver the Jewish people out of Egypt until he with the Lord's help placed Ten plagues on the land of Egypt and then Pharoah let my people go.

How will you sanction the Republiklan party. What can you do to stop them other than to stop buying the products of some of the most prominent companies that give them money? I have even seen other websites such as http://www.consumersforpeace.org also call for boycotts of war profiteers to pressure them to get this war ended.

Cindy, thank you for your work and your son's sacrifice which got hijacked by George W bush but we have lives to save and lives here we need to improve too and the misanthropes of the REPUBLIKLAN party will have to get stopped.

Take time off and renew yourself and come back.
