In addition to the fact that the book only beat Al Gore's book by five it is possible that the reason for the high sales is bulk buying by Republicans. Even though people like Ann Coulter accuse liberal of having best sellers by bulk buying the books it has come out that Republicans have actually used bulk selling to boost the number of sales of Republican books.
