"The War Prayer" adapted for stage?

I spoke to a niece last night and she said that the summer program she was go was soliciting short stage pieces dealing with various aspects of American life. Then she asked if I could help her adapt Mark Twain's The War Prayer, as that was the piece she wanted to see presented (that's my girl!)

I think it would be very easy to do. Three speaking parts -- Narrator, Preacher and Messenger -- and extras for the church-goers, and only about 5 to 10 minutes long. But before we set our hand to the project, I'm wondering if anyone might know of other adaptations that we could look at.

Added: I know people will ask, she is 15 years old and going to an "enrichment" summer camp program, basically two weeks of stuff for gifted teens. While it is in north central California, I don't think the political message will cause undue problems.

1. I know that afterdowningstreet.org is offering an adaptation...

...of "It Can't Happen Here" by Sinclair Lewis, and encouraging groups to stage it. But don't know about "The War Prayer." I'd love to have a copy if you find, or write, one.

I'm going to start working on a stage adaptation, I was just wondering if anyone knew of previous adaptations.
