Kucinich supporters: what are you DOING to get him elected???
Are you out there every weekend in the trenches? Are you donating to his campaign??? What are you actually doing to make it happen?

3. to be honest, I don't think he is electable...
...even if every DK supporter were to spend 24/7/365 for the rest of their lives promoting the man and his policies.... the United Idiots of America STILL wouldn't "get it."

Sheeple don't like when politicians speak the truth. They like it when big words are used to oversimplify things that give them a feeling of security. I suppose if our country were not one of the superpowers of the world people might actually see that a strong leader spreading truth to power could improve conditions.

But, the fact is, most Americans (from both parties) already live in such comfort relative to so many others in the world... they just don't see the need to support someone they see as so radical as DK when there are thousands of Mitt Romneys and Joe Bidens who would rather thump their chest and continue with American patriotism for all. No one really wants to know about all the nuanced problems that don't directly face them. No one wants to hear that America is broken and (heaven forbid) sacrifices need to be made to fix her.

Personally I LOVE DK! I also happen to be quite lazy though. I'm not even sure I'm going to vote this cycle. I kind of feel like ... what's the point?

6. Word to the wise
Sheeple rarely vote for your guy when you refer to them as idiots.

7. Give me a break...
...If you don't agree that MILLIONS of Americans are IDIOTS, fine. If you're telling me that my single post on DU supporting DK and calling some Americans idiots is hurting DK's chances of winning the Dem nomination, you're completely insane.

The only reason I can see for your statement about calling people names is that you feel you somehow fall into the category I describe. Perhaps you did not like me associating Mitt with Joe. It still does not take away from my argument that Americans are not willing to step up and sacrifice to have a leader that will ask the tough questions and seek the best path forward, not just the best path for his/her corporate sponsors.

8. I was going to defend him against attacks based on his appearance, number of wives,
his wife's age and appearance, etc. (y'know, the bullshit that Fox News published), but apparently, based on what I've been seeing here on DU, those are all legitimate lines of attack against a candidate.

:sarcasm:

10. Right now I'm putting together some research so that
I can proselytize his candidacy everywhere I go. I will be contributing $10 a month for five months to get my $50 to his campaign that he asked for from each supporter.
