Musharraf losing power and Pakistan falling into radical fundamentalist control is the threat that looms on the horizon.
What is the driving force of this radicalism?

It is much more likely that if Musharaf falls that Nawaz Sharif, Benazir Bhutto, or Imran Khan (or some coalition of all of the above) will rule...
Note, all of those folks are to the LEFT of Musharaf...
The Mullahs carry little political weight in Pakistan... the center of power is the Army...
So, who will rule, ultimately, is depending on the military.
