CNN says that the number killed has not been confirmed.

CNN also reports that Iran is helping to arm the Taliban, with whom they are enemies, but they are cooperating to inflict more bloddshed upon US and coalition miltary.

Starr jsut reported that 7 were killed on the Chinook, at least five are US military. Two others may be US military or coalition personnel. Rescue twam has also come under ambush. I started thread in LBN.

7. K&R...it was reported on CNN but this post should get up there on DU!

CNN was trying to spin it (from a WH Official as Iranian supported attack)...to their "little" credit ..CNN reported skepticism from "other sources." In all cases the "Sources" reported by CNN were "un-named" meaning that CNN reports CRAP they can't "SOURCE."

ANYWAY...the FACT IS...that a HELICOPTER WENT DOWN UNDER "FIRE" and FIVE US SOLDIERS DIED IN AFGHANISTAN TODAY!
