Rasmussen: Number of Republicans in U.S. reaches all-time new low
If this has been posted already, let me know.

Since Dems lead among independents, if independents become a bigger voting bloc than Republicans, they're toast.

1. So, have they stopped weighting their polls in favor of Repukes?
zi remember reading on their site once that they weighted Repub responses higher than Dems because "there were more Republicans in the US".

Of course, they all have "J" names -- "Jinger" being the worst name of the lot...

14. What I want to know is why having 5+ kids seems to interfere with a decent haircut.
Seriously! There's another woman on TLC with a bunch of kids and she has the EXACT same haircut - sort of a mommy mullet.

And, you're right. One kid missing. Maybe a daughter who wanted a decent hairstyle?

20. I wondered that, too. That is one godawful haircut ...
She probably thinks she looks stylish in front while retaining her womanly tresses (because only godless heathen women would have short hair)...

8. 31 GOP, 36 Dem, 32 Indy? Holy crap. This is ours to lose.
No way will the indy vote go right after the 6 years we've had.

This is ours to win, and that explains why John Edwards is keeping his head down. As long as the right can't turn him into a leper, he's got it. He can't lose.

I like these numbers. I do. Great news!

10. I've said in earlier posts that the Repubs are heading the way
of the Whigs - to extinction. I have no idea what will replace them, but I really think the Democratic Party will win the Presidency and Congress in 2008, and if it is wise, honest, and true to its principles, it will hold power for at least a generation.

Seriously, I don't know how a party can become extinct in a 2-party system.

17. Attention Centrist Apologists;
Democrats currently have public support on their side for the most significant issue of the day—Iraq. Most Americans favor either bringing all troops home from Iraq immediately or establishing a firm timetable for their withdrawal. Most also oppose a Presidential veto of the Iraq funding bill passed by Congress to establish a timetable.

18. Can't blame the people for turning their back on the cabal of corrupt republicon cronies
I mean, the republicons show no honesty, no competence, and no honor.

And the Vast Majority of Americans know it.

Only kool aid drinkers and War Profiteers remain.

19. The Republicans can thank Bush/Cheney.
This really is our race to lose. As many people as possible voting on Diebold machines should make sure they vote absentee. We also need more Dems to become election judges, especially in traditionally conservative precincts and those areas that had an unusual amount of voting shenanigans.

We're looking at a clearer majority in the Senate for '08 and if we can elect a Democratic president, we can finally begin to seriously uncover and fix the nightmare Bush/Cheney has wrought upon this nation and the world.
