2007 Bill of Rights Dinner Thursday May 31, 2007

This year the ACLU of Massachusetts honors Lt. Commander Charles Swift and Georgetown Law Professor Neal Katyal, lead counsel in the U.S. Supreme Court case
Hamdan v. Rumsfeld which held that the military commissions set up by the Bush administration to try detainees at Guantanamo Bay violate both the Uniform Code of Military Justice and the four Geneva Conventions.

Reception 6:00pm Dinner 6:45pm, Boston Park Plaza Hotel

Featuring Commentator Keith Olbermann and Humorist Roy Blount Jr.

The ACLU Foundation's annual Bill of Rights Dinner has sold out, with more than 700 people expected. If you'd like to attend, however, please email us about getting on the wait list, or call 617-482-3170, x335.

For those who cannot attend, there's this nice little KO Q-and-A:
