Al Gore On The Early Show

I don't think from watching this that Al Gore is too pleased with people handing out Gore 08 buttons at his presentations and inviting speculation. And of course, the media just eats it up because it feeds right into them trying to attach political motivations to his book. But he humoured him, so I hope he and the people who put him up to it are happy. Otherwise, it was a pretty good interview.

3. It is not right for the media and others to continue to push this man
Especially when he seems to be sincere in his words and wishes to do the right thing simply because he loves his country. But I guess since it is the media's job to diminish the sincerity of anyone who dares to tell the truth about them, this is simply what will be in every interview instead of them working with him to make the changes he talks about in this book to bring about the resurgence of that Democratic dialogue.

4. I guess some people really don't like hearing or seeing truth?

However, this preoccupation with sound bites is what has led us to this point, and hopefully even other candidates for offices will learn from this book because they couldn't have a better teacher. And if people here wish to ignore me because I am honest about my feelings and dare to speak truth, well then so be it. I know my support not only for this man is sincere, but so is my love for this country as well and I will continue to call out the media and any group that I believe is demeaning the true importance and substance of what he is talking about.
