Men Held In Deputy Shootings Near Disney Arrested 80 Times

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Three men suspected of shooting and injuring two Orange County sheriff's deputies at a resort near Walt Disney World Wednesday have extensive criminal records with more than 80 arrests between the three, Local 6 News has learned.

Investigators said Deputy Curtis Barnes, 42, and Deputy John Siller, 40, were shot at the Caribe Royal Resort, located at 8101 World Center Drive, when they confronted three men apparently trying to break into a car.

Barnes was shot in the right arm and Siller was shot in the chest, which was protected by a bulletproof vest, police said.

Deforest reported that records show that Clark has been arrested 46 times, Simmons 25 times and Rivera has been arrested 11 times.
