12. I believe that's "Springtime for Hitler"
a spinoff of a popular Broadway play.

2. have been seeing the ads for it, it looks pretty cornball
-- I just don't see the humor in traitors and mass murderers.

Ever wonder how legends are made? Find out on Lil' Bush: Resident of the United States, the animated series that takes you back to the playground days of our 43rd president, George W. Bush.

Enjoy the antics of Lil' George and his Lil' White House posse, including Lil' Condi, Lil' Rummy and that unintelligible, foulmouthed wisecracker, Lil' Cheney. They're like the Little Rascals with access to the A-bomb -- getting into mischief, learning stuff and meeting friends (Lil' Tony Blair) and foes (Lil' Kim Jong Il). Plus, they're always ready with a song.

Creator Donick Cary has written for The Simpsons and Just Shoot Me, and now takes Lil' Bush from its cult following on Amp'd Mobile to your TV screen. So join Lil’ George as he leads his lil’ cabinet and takes this dream team to elementary school political glory.

4. I think it'll be more than folks can stand
Colbert is one thing. He parodies. This looks like they expect us to laugh at his bullshit. I doubt I'll find it any more funny than Bush actually is.

8. Ha!
Damn...that was my line. The hot dog one is funny.

Good to see a Net success -- I am sure they will have to pull punches, but hey...better than nothing. ;-)

14. This should keep Freeperville occupied with outrage for some time...
The breadth of material in the one 'hotdog episode' would take hours for the freepers to dissect and lambast.

I will be surprised if this episode ever airs on tv.

7. won't even watch the ads, much less the show
Except for Jon Stewart's parody, I can't even listen to someone imitate Bush's voice. Plus, Comedy Central has a tradition of sucky animated shows.

10. the problem I forsee is that they might end up using the same jokes we have seen
500 times on other shows or online

That is kind of what that Robin Williams movie about running for President was like.

13. Toothless.
Vague. Fairly uncomprehending of the reality of torture. Makes no account of it, in the way, say, the busdriver made an account of George's self-satisfaction. Busheviks and kids who have third-hand knowledge of what's going on in the country might enjoy it.

Cheney's short appearance did get a laugh out of me, Very reminiscent of Beavis. Beavis and Frankenstein combined.
