If you want to directly do something about poverty, real poverty, instead of waiting for the politicians to actually do something... try this.

All the stories made me weepy. I was a little overwhelmed until I hit on a strategy: find one close to finishing and donate the remaining amount. I had no idea this sort of thing existed, it's brilliant!
