watch out for "the google"

Out of curiosity, I went to google and typed in my username from DU because I have seen threads referenceing DU threads being listed as news at at the top of some google searches. I was glad to see nothing on the first page, but I choked when I saw the first one on second page.



Holy crap, I was being a snarky smart ass trying to make a point. I think that it's time to watch what I say since there is no "sarcasm" icon for the real world.

It's not just your user name. You can also type any distinct phrase from one of your posts ("ghost of Bull Connor", for instance) and get the same result.

I say everything with the assumption that anybody can read it, but I guess I dont expect that it might make it onto google.

9. It is interesting how much time they devote to reading and discussing what we say.

I was surprised to even see some of my posts up on "that site". I don't consider myself anything above a blip around these parts.
