This sucks! BuyBlue.org has shut down.

Just found out BuyBlue.org has shut down. Apparently they've donated their data and code to Advomatic, a web development firm, and they're planning to do relaunch a new version of it at some point. They're inviting ideas:

2. They didn't explain.

Just that they have "shut their virtual doors."

And they're encouraging people to invest in their blue fund. I'm assuming it was too much work for too little (or no) pay, and ultimately people who run websites need to eat at some point (says this starving website creator).

When I go to a new place, I have to just hope it's Democratic in donations. I sure hope they go back online soon.
