Republican hypocrisy once again
Repugs love to blast actors from Hollywood who raise their voices up and discuss politics. But as soon as someone from the acting community pops up that has a conservative point of view its like the second coming. Its worse that fans swooning at the site of an idol.

5. The antithesis of reason.
Reduce the election to a popularity contest in the purest sense. We may as well turn the electoral process over to the phone banks at American Idol.

8. Well at least more people would vote.
From what I understand, more people voted for the last American Idol than they did for the last Presidential election.

And that, in a nutshell, defines voter apathy.
