1. Congress should be required to work 4 days per week..
or 40 hours per week, just like the laws they pass.

5. Congress always met from Monday noon to Friday noon
That allowed them to go back to the district to check on things, go to functions in cities and towns and attend to business there. That is 5 days a week and sometimes they work nights.

7. Tell ya what Roy,
don't worry about it ... we'll give you an excused absence ... you and all you other Bush lapdogs go on home whenever you want to. No one is going to require you to stay in DC for those little ol votes .... just go on home and we'll let you know how it turned out.
:sarcasm:

10. Did he complain when he flew in to vote on a non-binding, feel-good
legislation which did absolutely nothing but kiss the ass of the Religious Reich in the "Save Terri S." bill?
