|
But I've never live in a tornado area.

6. Looks like a pretty nasty system |
|
I saw a few of those when I lived in Arkansas. The storm of 1970 sticks out especially in my memory since that was the closest I've ever been to a tornado (a big sucker that was less than 10 miles away).
However, here in the Tokyo area, it's clear and 72 degrees. Storms (if you can call them that) generally last for only a few minutes, with the exception of the very occasional typhoon.
Anyway, stay safe :hi:

Keep safe...do you have a basement?
Was raised in Missouri. Grandfather always
took the family to the basement on nights like this.
Take care.

|
And welcome to DU Zoigal. :toast: I'd need the elevator for the basement tonight or a stair rail. My knees hurt. Swamper letting me know I have them I guess.

Or maybe a couple. At least the storms are moving really fast--that sometimes helps. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

We're going to get some later on, so it may be a long night. It's just me and the dogs and one of them has severe storm anxiety. She's already had her "doggie valium" for the night. Are you out of the storm yet?

We are about 5 miles from the kansas border, 4th county in from the west, in NE. We don't have much of anything at the moment, but in the last 2 days we had tornados 12 milers north and 15 miles south of us.
You sound like you have your bases covered. Stay aware and stay safe.

if you turn the lights way up you might be able to ignore some of the lightening. (that is, if you want to ignore it)
