I tell you. I spent a good 10 minutes shaking it and crying in fear. Then I got a new battery and everythings ok again.:freak:

10. MissMillie, thanks for that website.
I went into the "fun and games" page, read the hate emails which were absolutely hilarious, then went into this site: http://www.planetdan.net/pics/misc/georgie.htm

I'm playing with Georgie right now and when he gets into some pretty wild positions when he gets stuck between the balls (bwaaaaaaaa)!!

I was having WAY too much fun on that site. I finally had to force my hand up to the X, but not before I bookmarked the page!!!

Great stress reliever.

8. Great idea.
I'm married to a Vietnam vet and some of you probably did this while serving. He still to this day, has a sheet of paper which he wrote the word "Home" in large block letters. These letters were then divided into the amount of days it would be before he was home again and each day, colored in a block with his high school colors.

Moral of the story: This small measure was an inspiration, which is what I think this clock would be.

him out. But there are MANY new crimes that this administration can commit and there needs to be accountability. The war is not over and may not be over when his term comes to an end.

Sorry to piss on the Bush Clock idea, but that was my immediate reaction.

19. Nooooooooooooo. . .
Not a good idea. It would be totally bad cyber magic and empower him to serve out the entirety of his term and completely undermine any potential of his much deserved impeachment or early resignation.

There are plenty in the spiritual community who have perceived that he will not complete his second term.

But who the heck knows. . .?

20. Perhaps a countdown clock
with the amount of days we have endured this regime listed too.

We have 599 days to go and have endured 2300 or so since he 'assumed' office in 2000.

23. You actually think Bush would leave office on 1/20/09?
If he's not gone before then, you really believe that this administration, which has absolutely no respect for the Constitution or other laws, would follow the law that says they're leaving power?

Tell me another one.

29. Here is the countdown page for NASA shuttle liftoff
...it's kinda neat with pics that refresh and of course if DU set up a reference page only that would not allow postings other then administration with news items concerning Dubya I think that would be a constructive addition. Here is the NASA link:

27. How can we know when the Resignation Cometh?
Or, for that matter, if the Impeachment will have to bring forth the Final Judgement.

It has to be called the "Inauguration Clock" to be fair to the possiblities, and the high probabilities engendered by highest crimes, high crimes, lots of crimes, all those misdemeanors, and the sins of lying.

47. Less then 600 days remain ... and hopefully he'll spend about a 1/3 of those
on vacation.

To maintain my sanity, I've been telling myself that 8 years isn't really that long.

I hardly remember the years from my birth to age eight. I'm hoping I live long enough to forget Bush's 8 years.

37. A countdown clock assumes he'll leave when he's supposed to leave.
And I'm not sure he's going to. Why would the most criminal President in our nation's history walk away from all that power just to watch his buddies get picked up one-by-one for federal offenses that all point straight back to him?

40. Impeachment Countdown. 23 weeks of "off the table." 86 weeks. . .
Edited on Sat Jun-02-07 04:35 PM by pat_k
As of Monday, June 4, 2007

23 weeks since taking control of Congress.
23 weeks of submitting to Pelosi's "off the table" edict.
23 weeks of impotent gesture.

86 weeks until the inauguration of the next president.
86 weeks in which 1700 service people will be killed (avg of 20 each week).
86 weeks in which 12,000 service people will be injured (avg of 20 per day).
86 weeks for the House to impeach Bush and Cheney and break their bonds of complicity.

32 weeks until the Iowa caucus.
32 weeks for a Demcoratic candidate to prove themselves worthy of our votes by demaning the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.

74 weeks until the Presidential election.
74 weeks for a Presidential candidate to electrify the electorate by demanding the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.
