POPCORN! Get Yer Popcorn HERE: Bush Blowing It On Immigration Reform (CNN NOW)
Bush is talking about immigration reform.

He is pushing HARD to convince his base that it's good to give illegal aliens temporary work visas.

He keeps saying "These people are coming here to do the jobs Americans DON'T WANT TO DO! You can't stop them from coming here... border control can't stop them"

That's going to literally piss off the conservative base. And we all know (including freepers) that it's not the available jobs that Americans don't want to do, it's the COMPANIES who KNOW THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW to hire illegal aliens.

Like I said above, get your popcorn and head over to freeperville to see how they react. They aren't going to be happy.

5. This is hilarious to watch
Have you ever heard a Republican or talk radio tell their followers to contact their Congressman? No of course not, they want to control the topic of the week from on high with all the little ones down belong chanting their talking points on the issue they have decided to highlight. Well guess what-the sheeple decided that they wanted ACTION on this perfect issue (one with no resolution). Not only has their dear leaders lost control of the message with the base it has been clearly illustrated that they both have no plan to fix this and that they have been playing both ends all the time (we know which end the leaders really care about).

We are seeing this, or at least did, in our party too. The Dem leadership didn't want to push the war as an issue either but were forced to by the base-NOW their positions in leadership (and the nomination) rest on how they handle it.

Oh this is getting good.

9. Bush is a surrender monkey
What does he mean that border control can't stop them? There has to be more we can do to protect the border.

10. This whole "jobs Americans don't want to do" is idiocy.
People here don't "want" to do them, because the companies have continually screwn the American worker and will not hire the American worker at a real wage.

12. Funny how those companies can't tell they're illegal aliens from a piss test.
I've been required to provide documentation of my military service, my college transcripts, a urine test, a credit check, a psychological test, and a complete physical examination ... just on applying for jobs. But these fucking traffickers in human labor claim they can't know whether their employees are illegal aliens?? BULLSHIT! I've been denied employment in jobs I was qualified to do by employers using H-1B visa holders - with the specious excuse I was "overqualified"!

These obscene and corrupt employment practices have GOT TO STOP! These people belong in prison, their license to do business revoked, and their business assets confiscated. It's beyond disgusting that people are denied employment in our own country by these predators in our midst.

13. After six years
of pandering to the wealthiest 2%, subverting every good gov program created in the last 50 years, appointing unqualified hacks to disrupt and undermine every agency responsible for looking out for Americans this a**wipe (Bu$h) wants us to believe that this legislation is going to be good for anyone? Just the fact that Bu$h supports and wants this passed tells me that it will do far more harm than good.
