Most Idiotic Bumpersticker
My nominee (seen 6/1/07 in Edina, MN): DRAFT PROTESTERS!

So apparently the person who drives around with this one isn't willing to go to Iraq or offer up their offspring for the cause, but supports Bush's war of choice so strongly that the only people they're willing to send are those who are vocally opposed to it.

Any other nominees?

1. That's a good one. Here's a couple I recently saw:
Edited on Fri Jun-01-07 02:26 PM by No Surrender
"If you support the troops, stand behind them. If you don't support the troops, stand in front of them."

On the back of an 18-wheeler, in huge, capital letters: "JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON, AND BOY IS HE MAD."

on edit - Here's one my sister saw: "Give war a chance."

I think this is the way they justify putting their funds in offshore tax-free accounts.

Ward 1 Precinct 2 went roughly 80% Kerry, 12% Bush, the remainder went to assorted third-party quixotes. Concordia, however, is affiliated with the Missouri Synod Lutherans (the crazy ones!)and has a knack for dragging a few wingnuts into an otherwise very progressive neighborhood.

I was traveling with my foreman from Louisville to Bardstown (late 80's during Iran Contra), on this two lane highway. Coming down a hill we could see smoke ahead on the road. As we approached we saw it was a car belching white smoke. Not unusual in Kentucky. As we got near we noticed it was two cars. The car in front was the car smoking. The car behind was tailgating. The tailgating car had this bumper sticker:

"I'm Behind Ollie North."

73. Those were scary enough in '04.
How bleeping dumb and misguided must someone be to STILL have a B/C sticker on their vehicle!

68. The most stomach-turning one I saw
Edited on Fri Jun-01-07 05:31 PM by OnionPatch
said, "Peace, the Old Fashioned Way" and it has a symbol of a peace sign that, upon closer inspection, is actually some sort of fighter jet with a circle around it. Of course it was on the back of a huge pickup truck with a redneck-looking guy driving it.

I'd love to counter that one with one that says, "Peace, the old fashioned way: "Love Thy Enemies" "Turn the Other Cheek" "Thou Shalt Not Kill"

I mean, my version of old-fashioned of peace is about 2000 years old than his.

74. "War is sometimes the answer."
That, and, "Freedom isn't free. God bless our troops." (Both on the same vehicle.)

75. Perchance it was Ironic..?
I think that would actually be a funny, hipster, ironic bumper sticker.

However, the words funny, hipster and ironic are not compatible, as a triumvirate of words, they are impossible.

Hipsters in no way can be either funny or ironic at the same time.

I guess I answered my own question.
