Michael Reagan: "Yes, they are dying, but they are doing such a fabulous job ..."
This is why the republicans had the Bush brothers (George and Jed) lined up to run for president. This dimwit makes George W. Bush look like a rocket scientist (for those of you who don't know - Michael Reagan is the son of Ronald Reagan and also a crazy-loop job commentator)

Michael Reagan: 'Let the military go do what it does best, kill people and break things' David Edwards and Muriel Kane

On Thursday, MSNBC's Scarborough Country discussed the rapid increase in US military casualties in Iraq and the latest Gallup Poll, which shows 54% of Americans wanting to get out of Iraq and only 25% saying to stay the course. In light of these facts, Joe Scarborough asked conservative commentator Michael Reagan, "What can a president do but abandon a bloody and unpopular war?"

"Shut off the television sets," Reagan responded. "I mean, when was the last time you heard a body count on the other side? ... All you hear about is the body count of Americans, not the job that they are doing."

He continued, "If I was there with the president of the United States, know what I'd tell him? I'd tell him shut off the press, let the military go do what it does best, kill people and break things. ... Give them some positive news about what these soldiers are doing that are fighting. Yes, they are dying, but they are doing such a fabulous job ..."

Moving on to elaborate on the negative consequences of the US pulling out of Iraq, Reagan said, "I wouldn't blame Japan or Taiwan to go nuclear, because no longer will anybody in the world be able to trust the United States of America." If Iraq is returned to the Iraqis, he insisted, one or two million people will die and "they'll find another reason to hate America."

7. "You will just find a new way to hate America".
That's when I wanted to shoot the teevee.

Scarborough cut him off and out of the screen after that.

9. Michael Reagan, a fascist Republican.
He doesn't want reporters to report deaths of soldiers. He only wants the good news reported.

Stupid MSNBC, they gang 3 idiot conservatives on Katrina Van Den Heuvel.

Michael Reagan, a talk show host who doesn't want reporters reporting on news about the Iraq war? What a hypocrite.

Well, they're turning off shows where the conservatives well outnumber the liberals, at any rate.
