Alert for NJ DUers -- The Boss performing Pete Seeger songs on NJN momentarily |
|
Memo to NJ and Philadelphia area DUers -- 90 minutes of Pete Seeger songs performed by Bruce Springsteen. Highly recommended. Broadcast channel 23. No idea about cable.

It's practically over now.
I'm in NYC but RCN cable carries NJN. I really like having the extra PBS station except of course when they're doing the stupefying pledge weeks. Why do they think people are enamored of Suze Orman and the other incessant repeats? The only one I look forward to is The Civil War. I never get tired of that show, although it's usualy only channel Thirteen which runs it.

I liked the Seeger Session recordings. As luck would have it, I'm stuck in Vineland for another few days & could have watched this ... had I been paying attention a little earlier.
Pete & Mike Seeger make an appearance on Ry Cooder's latest CD "My Name is Buddy", the story of a singing leftist cat. Good stuff.
