I don't really like the replacement for Olberman... The show just
isn't the same without him. All week long I am bored and missing a good rant.

It just isn't the same without him though.

The Yankees and the Red Sox are in the middle of a 4-game series.

5. There's nothing wrong with Allison Stewart
Except that she's not Keith. Would you rather have reruns or those ridiculous Investigaative Reports that MSNBC runs? I vote for Allison.

23. Does that mean she won't be on MSNBC at all?
I really like Allison, I swear I remember seeing her on Tech Tv Screensavers, but I can't find a link. She is one hell of a reporter. Guess I'm gonna have to check out NPR.

We'll be able to hear her, not see her, :(

15. no, I'd rather her than the other, I'd change the channel... but she's
not keith. But then again its always strange to have a fill in. Fill in are like substitute teachers.

7. I'm with Andrea on Allsion: I'd rather have her than reruns or
sensationalistic junk. She isn't KO, but she brings her own style to the show. Yeah, she's young, but I say let her host the show.

14. I'm with Andrea and Ilsa about Alison.
:hi:
I agree she's not Keith, but I think Alison is the best sub for Keith. She's cute, great with the snark, not all that young (she'll be 41 on July 4). In addition to currently working for MSNBC and NPR, she's worked for CBS, won an Emmy when working for ABC and a Peabody Award while she was with MTV.
Not too shabby, IMO.

21. 41? Man I wish I looked that good at 41. I was pregnant and
then breastfeeding and then lost too much weight but my boobies were still the size of basketballs. Allison looks fiiiine. Love her hair and skin.

i was commenting this morning how old Dan bartlett looks. He doesn't look 36, but more like 50.

27. Skinny with boobies the size of basketballs?
 Honey, that's the dream of many men!

FWIW, I'm giving birth on June 8 and hope to be slender again at some point soon. I will be breast-feeding, as well (did with my son, too, and it's the best thing for both baby AND Mommy) and I'm 37.

Let me tell you, it's tougher at 37 than when I had my son at 29. WHEW! It's almost OVER!

Randi can be a total jerk at times. I can't listen to her self absorbedness, and her rudeness.

28. I agree!! She's an egomaniac, very Rush-ish and "told ya so"
while preaching to the choir.

That same day she was patting herself on the back and advising callers "you do what YOU can do which is like your homework..." implying she was some kind of Grand Pubah or something, her attitude is so condescending.

I think she's terrific. I'd rather have KO but I think she has a great delivery and asks good questions and she's very attractive. What's the problem?

25. I like the replacement...
True you don't get the rants that we all love, but it's strage how similar the dialogue is.

Seems to me that this is a writer driven show. When KO's gone the jokes, the pace and the attitude are all the same. I think there are people who give that show the flavor...not that much KO.
