It's time for a DU project: What should I do for a website on www.hqrnc.org?
I have www.HQRNC.com and www.HQRNC.org .... oh the possibilities! A parody site of www.rhnhq.org? Make up email addresses and send emails to republicans to see if they reply?

Ok, DU'ers.... give me some ideas if you can. I have to leave for a bit, but I'll be back to check out responses.

Put on your creative thinking caps and have at it....

PEACE!

Ghost

3. Just set up a catchall mailbox
so any email to that domain will be accepted.

2. Do you mean "rnchq.org"
http://www.rnchq.org/ makes sense. I get a blank clicking on www.rhnhq.org

4. I just took a look at rnchq.org. It ain't pretty
The graphics are okay, but the text on the secondary pages looks like crap (all bold face in an Arial Narrow font. Half the site is given over to sales, which tells me they don't want players or activists using this site, they want dupes who'll buy their merchandise visiting.

Oh, and I took a poll about "What's the most important issue today?" The results involved some "fuzzy math"

Which issue do you feel requires the most urgent action by Congress?
- Immigration & border security (0.5%)
- A budget with fiscal discipline (0.2%)
- Confirming qualified judges (0.1%)
- Extending the President's tax relief (0.1%)

So only 0.9% of respondents answered the question? Or is this just another example of Republicans who don't worry about whether their accountants move the decimal over a few places?

5. Whatever you do...
Use an open source, PhP/MySQL, FREE content management system. I like Joomla. I also like Xoops.

10. I have both of them available to me through my hosting...
along with Vanilla Forum and a few others... I've never used any of them though. Are they easy for a dummy like me to set up and use?

BTW... I've seen your username somewhere else before I think.... does the name Jerky LeBeouf mean anything to you?

PEACE!

11. Hmmm...
You have posted on WNT, perhaps?

If your hosting company has them as one-click installs, they are very easy.

I was thinking of The Daily Dirt... man I miss Jerky... I've seen some of your posts and you have a very similar writing style...

I'll check out joomla and Xoops... which would you recommend for someone who's never used them before?
