3. Second K&R.
The whole video tape thing threw me for a loop, thought it might be a vintage '80's commercial. but very doubtful with the plot line! good beer, great commercial, excellent message.

He was the first presidential candidate to speak in such a venue.

12. WOW!!! Just WOW! Now THAT is a good commercial.
That should be played over & over on teevee, instead of some of the shit that passes for advertising we have to watch every day.

15. Really cool. The British Commercials are consistently good.
They had one a few years back where you see a man, heavy-set with a moustache, come home from work..He walks into his dingy apartment, and proceeds to get undressed and change into women's clothes. As you are watching, you are totally perplexed as to what the hell this could be a commercial for.
After putting on a bra, a corset, a wig (don't forget, he has a moustache)a dress, hi-heels, he reaches over and picks up a leash. There on the floor is a lovely little pup, wagging its tail and looking very lovingly at the man. It is a commercial for the RSPCA, and the overdub says that one should adopt a pet, as they love you no matter what.

35. OK, that reminds me . . .
Edited on Sun Jun-03-07 12:54 PM by lolly
Of an old Monty Python skit . .

With John Cleese, I believe, and someone else? Don't think it was Eric Idle--

Anyway, 2 button-down British men on the train chat about the mundane things in life (jobs, crabgrass, whatever) as they change from their suits into women's clothes, complete with pantyhose, wigs, hats, high heels.

Then, when they're done, they head for the door marked "Ladies," and one complains "I wish they'd hurry and fix the Men's Loo on this train."

oh--on edit--loved the commercial.

I'm not a huge guiness fan, but then again, I'm not a big beer drinker and Guiness, unlike most of the crap we get here, is a real beer. :)

25. Commercials like this one remind me how much I hate living in the United States.

The JesusFreak morons would have a field day with this one, and we all know that Everyone Must Pander To Them And Their So-Called Beliefs.
