1. That might not help. Alot of ingredients both in food and medicine
are made in China and manufacturers in the US and Canada are not required to list where ingredients come from. Furthermore I read that US manufacturers don't know where ingredients come from because they purchase ingredients through traders. A shocking fact I read recently is that hardly any Vitamin C is processed in North America , most of it comes from China. The article I read listed other common ingredients but I can't recall what they are.:(

2. It's in incredibly tiny print on Colgate tubes, but mine says "made in USA"
I only know that because I checked a few minutes ago.

4. So did I because I bought mine at a discount store cheap
It said USA.... I just checked mine about 10 mins ago while brushing.

Back in the 50s, Japan made a town called USA in order to sell their products
or maybe that is a scopes story.

6. I emailed GSK a couple of days ago
It's getting to the point where I want everything in writing! Here's their reply:

We have received your e-mail on the Aquafresh website regarding the ingredients
contained in our product.

In response to your inquiry, all toothpaste sold by GlaxoSmithKline in the United
States is manufactured in the United States, and each batch or lot of finished product
is tested and certified to ensure it meets FDA requirements for safety and efficacy.
None of the ingredients used in GlaxoSmithKline toothpastes are bought from companies
in China.

We appreciate your taking the time to contact us and for giving us the opportunity
to address this important issue.

Sincerely,

Kathleen
GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare

Isn't it shameful that we have to be so worried about what we ingest? I truly believe we have been consuming poisons since the chemical/plastics revolution. I've always wondered about stuff like toothpaste, cookware, detergents, you name it. Is cancer a man-made disease?

11. If mine was poisonous it would've killed me by now.
If the first half of the tube didn't make me keel over I feel ok with the second half. :)
