Would anyone be interested in joining a monthly political book club? I think it would be interesting to have one member a month suggest a political book (doesn't have to be on the top ten list) and the other members could decide whether they would be interested in participating that month. Then by the end of the month, for example on a Thursday evening or Tuesday and Thursday evening, members would meet on the board and discuss the book they had just finished.
All books would apply (including the rights); however, I do not suggest purchasing a Republican's book but getting it from a library. I refuse to stuff any of my money in any book written by a right-wing Neoconservative.
Just wanted to see if there is any interest in this and, also, would anyone like to help with the mission statement for the group if we get at least 10 members?

1. why not start a monthly read in the Non Fiction forum? |
|
seems better than a new forum. you might want to ask over there and see who'd be interested http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=209
