CNN has a debate scorcard. The final tally has some surprises. |
|
Go here http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/debates/scorecard/ Look over how the panelist answered, then cast your votes. Let me know what you think of the voting.

I only got two that agreed with the totals thus far and one was Dodd as the best dresser (a sarcastic vote on my part because I thought it was a shallow question, probably put up by Wolfie.)

3. Interesting poll. Here are the questions (and my answers) |
|
Who do you think won the debate? Biden. Of course Clinton really won, but Biden did great and I don't loathe him.
Who seemed to know most about the issues? Richardson his answers were thoughtful, but not suited to the forum
Who had the best one-liner or comeback? Kooch "This is a teachable moment. Last November the voters made this the Democrats' war"
Who had the most disappointing performance at the debate? Obama If you're gonna market yourself as a cross between Mick Jaggar and JFK, by God you better show a little more sparkle. He got more air time than anyone else and still seemed a little overwhelmed.
Whose performance was most surprising? Biden His passion on Darfur may have been canned, but it convinced me.
Whose campaign got the biggest boost from the debate? Clinton She did everything right. I still disagree with her, but she did an excellent job
Who was the snappiest dresser? Dodd They did all kinda dress alike, but I feel like Dodd deserves to have a vote for something, because he did such a whambam job on a crowded stage.

4. It's galling to see who they get to analyze this sort of thing. |
|
A guy from a right wing think tank, a guy from the far right of the Democratic Party, and a guy from the far right of the Republican Party.

6. That's what passes for fair and balanced on CNN. |
|
Biden, Clinton, and Obama did the best. Edwards was very good tonight too.

8. Which is why I won't watch them- and advise others to ignore them, too |
|
It's not a credible network- and their "panelists" are interested in forming or distorting public opinion to further the far right agenda.

I don't give a rat's ass what a self-appointed analyst thinks.

7. How fucking irrelevent is this question? |
|
"Who was the snappiest dresser?"
Seriously if we are choosing the next President of The United States based upon how they dress we are seriously fucked. They may have well asked who wears boxers, briefs, panties or a g-string.

11. Sarah Silverman. Oh wait, that was the MTV Movie Awards. They all |
|
looked good, and they all offered substance unlike the Faux Neuz debate a couple weeks ago.
