It's official. Valerie Plame was a covert agent at the time her name was leaked by Novak. Will Victoria Toensing issue an apology? And Fred Hiatt should follow her lead.

Plame was always covert. Toensing, however, believes herself the be The Official Arbiter Of What Consitiutes A Covert Agent. Apparently every CIA director has to call her every day to determine which agency operative is covert, just in case someone has to leave the building. Also, I think Toensing is the one that decides whether it will rain in your area or not.

Be assured Vicious Victoria will lay low for a little bit...plotting and scheming with her hubby and Barbara Comstock...and wait for this to blow over.
